Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Youkla.com and its services, including all its sub-projects such as the video creation tool (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Youkla.com ("we," "our," or "the platform"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. User Accounts

Access to certain features requires an account created via Google sign-in
You must provide accurate information when creating your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
Accounts inactive for 12 consecutive months may be terminated

2. Subscription and Billing

2.1 Billing Terms

Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled
You will be billed on the same day each month
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
No refunds for partial billing periods

2.2 Payment Processing & Taxes

All payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a plan or purchasing credits, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added to your bill where required.

2.3 Subscription Plans

We currently offer the following subscription plans:

$7.99/month: Up to 30 videos per month, all voices, backgrounds, and caption styles
$13.99/month: Up to 60 videos per month, all voices, backgrounds, and caption styles

Additional credits can be purchased as one-time payments:

$3.99: 90 credits (up to 10 videos)
$7.99: 250 credits (up to 30 videos)
$13.99: 500 credits (up to 60 videos)

2.4 Refund Policy

You are eligible for a refund if both of the following conditions are met:

The refund request is submitted within 14 days of the original payment date.
No credits or generation quota have been used during the billing period for which the refund is requested.

We may also offer refunds or credits at our sole discretion in cases of system errors, service disruptions, or billing issues that prevent normal use of the platform.

Refunds will not be granted for:

Partial usage of credits or video quota
Missed cancellations or subscription oversights
Requests made more than 14 days after payment

To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your account email and payment details. If approved, refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

3.1 Content Usage

Content created using our Service may be used for both personal and commercial purposes
You retain ownership of content you generate using our Service

3.2 Intellectual Property Rights

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its design, features, and functionality
You are responsible for ensuring that content you create complies with applicable laws

3.3 Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service to create:

Content that violates intellectual property rights
Defamatory, harassing, or threatening content
Content that promotes illegal activities
Content that is sexually explicit or obscene

3.4 Right to Remove Content

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate for any reason.

4. Limitation of Liability

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is established.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post any changes on the Platform, and your continued use of the Platform after such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
